i see lots of activity (again) in rural energy surveys. Many funded by DFID's new large scale investment in energy related studies. The question arises whether they might adopt standard data gathering modules possibly built on those you developed so long ago: Energy Policies and Multitopic Household Surveys WORLD BANK WORKING PAPER NO. 90 Guidelines for Questionnaire Design in Living Standards Measurement Studies. My question is whether other modules have been (or are being) developed by others, and where one would go to look for standard modules (our particular interest is on the impact on women of fossil fuel subsidy reform and impact on women of access to modern energy services in street foods.
